This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of motivation and compensation on teacher performance in Enok District, Indarigiri Hilir District. The population of this study was 35 junior high school teachers in Enok District, Indragiri Hilir Regency and all were studied. The type of data from this study are primary data for Motivation variables obtained from teachers using questionnaires and secondary data for Compensation Variables and performance obtained from schools using documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques using path analysis with the help of SPSS. The results of this study indicate that motivation and compensation affect both simultaneously and partially.
