Based on the results of the research to reading ability for beginner students have not yet developed optimally. So it needs to be done using media that is typewriter alphabet media. This study aims to examine Influence of the typewriter alphabet media to reading ability for beginner of student in TK negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru, from September 2019 to March 2020 for research and observation. This research uses typewriter alphabet media with one group pre- test, post- test design with a sample amount 15 children. The data were collected used observation sheet reading ability for beginner children. Data analysis technique used in this research is t-test with using SPSS ver 23 program. The result of the analysis show thitung resulted -33,446 is bigger than t tabel =176131 with sig 0,000
