Studi Etnobotani Pada Kuliner Tradisional Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota Sumatera Barat Serta Uji Fitokimia
Lima Puluh Kota District is an area that was first inhabited Minangkabau ancestors. This area has development culture that longer than other regions and culinary culture, one of them. The society of Lima Puluh Kota was used plants in the culinary are regarded as part of a culture of traditional knowledge and affect one's quality of life. This study aims to determine the species of main plants in Lima Puluh Kota culinary and identified phytochemical contents. Purposive sampling was used to collected data ethnobotany in study area. Phytochemical tests to identified of alkaloid, triterpenoid, steroid, flavonoid, saponin and tannin. The result found 19 type of traditional culinary using 44 species of main plants from 30 family. The part of plants that used are bulbs, shoots, petiole, leaves, flowers and fruits which processed by curry, pongek, rendang and fried. The positive tested of phytochemical contents where found alkaloid (13 species), triterpenoid (18 species), steroid (8 species), flavonoid (27 species), saponin (21 species) and tannin (20 species).
