Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Menggunakan Model Discovery Learning Pada Materi Segiempat Dan Segitiga Kelas VII SMP/ MTS
This research is motivated by the limited mathematics learning tools that are in accordance with the 2013 Curriculum. The purpose of this study is to produce products in the form of learning tools that are Syllabus, RPP, and Student Activity Sheet (LAS) by using discovery learning models in the material of Quadrilateral and Triangle VII class of SMP/MTs . The development model used in this study is the 4-D model which consists of four stages of development, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Learning tools that have been developed are validated by three validators and revised according to the suggestions of the validator. The average results of the syllabus validation analysis is 3.75 in the very valid category and the average for the RPP and LAS validation results is 3.76 in the very valid category. The results of this validation analysis show that the syllabus, lesson plans, and LAS are worth testing. A valid learning tool was then tested on a small group with 10 subjects for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The average results of the analysis of small group trial data is 3.50 which indicates a very practical category. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the product in the form of a mathematics learning device using discovery learning models on the material of Quadrilateral and Triangle VII grade SMP/MTs which includes Syllabus, RPP and LAS has been assessed as valid.
