Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Konsep Bilangan Melalui Permainan Biji Pinang Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di Tk Trisula Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to improve the ability to recognize the concept of numbers
at the age of 4-5 years in Kindergarten Trisula District Bangko Rokan Hilir
Regency. The study was conducted because of the ability to recognize the concept
of number in children aged 4-5 years in Kindergarten Trisula Bangko District
Rokan Hilir Regency is still low. Observations conducted indicate that the
rendanya factor of the ability to recognize the concept of this number because of
teacher-centered learning, children less actively participate in learning activities
and media play is very minimal. This research is collaborative between
researchers and classroom teachers. Data collected using observation and
documentation method. Data were analyzed by applying 2 cycles, where cycle I
was held three times meeting and cycle II was held three times meeting. The results
of this study indicate an increase in the ability to recognize the concept of numbers
in children aged 4-5 years in Kindergarten Trisula District Bangko Rokan Hilir
Regency. Through the game of areca nut, before the action up to cycle II. The
ability to recognize the concept of the number of children increased from before the
action 45.41% with the criteria began to develop. After the action of the level of
ability to recognize the concept of increasing the number of children in the first
cycle of 56.53% with the criteria begin to grow, in the second cycle increased to
86.67% with the criteria evolve as expected. The conclusion of this research is
through the game of pinang seeds can improve the ability to recognize the concept
of the number of children aged 4-5 years old in Trisula Kindergarten Bangko
District Rokan Hilir Regency.
