Rancang Bangun Generator Sinkron Magnet Permanen 2 Fasa 12 Kutub
ABSTRACT
Synchronous generator (alternator) is a type of electrical engine that
functions to produce alternating voltage by converting mechanical energy into
electrical energy, electrical energy is obtained from the electromagnetic induction
process that occurs in the stator and rotor coils. The rotor uses a permanent magnet
NdFeB (Neodymium Ferrite Boron) as a magnetic field producer. The electric
frequency it generates is synchronous with the mechanical rotation of the
generator. This research designed a 12 pole 12 phase permanent magnet
synchronous generator. What distinguishes the laying of a coil between 2 phases
and 3 phases, namely: in 2 phases prove that 1 cycle of angle 90˚. Meanwhile, in 3
phases prove that 1 corner cycle is 360˚. This test determined the speed of 500 Rpm
and the output voltage produced 20 VAC, 72 watts of power, with a frequency of 50
Hz. Tests on the load using a rectifier circuit. The load used is 2 12 volt LED lights
7 watts and 9 watts with a voltage of 13.60 VDC, current 0.618 A. The speed of the
generator is directly proportional to the output voltage.
