Profil Pasien Community-Acquired Pneumonia (Cap) Yang Dirawat Inap Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2017-2019
Community-Acquired Pneumonia (CAP) was a type of pneumonia that acquired in the community or occurs in less than 48 hours after the patient hospitalized. The CAP case was also the main infection causing death in developing countries. This study was conducted to determine the description of CAP patients who were hospitalized at Arifin Achmad General Hospital in 2017-2019. This was a descriptive research using the patients’ medical records. The results obtained indicate that CAP was common in the age group> 65 years (35.1%), with the most patients was male (52.7%). The most common tribe was Malay (20.2%). The most common complaint of patients was dyspnea (57.4%). Most CAP patients with complications (81.4%) with the most causes was Acinobacter baumanni (18.4%) and the most frequently given therapy was ceftriaxone (41.0%). Most CAP patients were treated in class III wards (53.2%) with the most length of stay for 0-5 days (68.6%) and the patient's discharge condition was an improvement in the condition (76.6%).
