Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Autoplay Media Studio 8.0 Untuk Meningkatkan Karakter Komunikatif Dan Kolaboratif Peserta Didik Pada Materi Asam Basa Kelas XI SMA/MA

The purpose of this study was to develop chemistry learning media based on
autoplay media studio 8.0 to improve the communicative and collaborative character
of students on acid-base material for class XI high school / MA equivalent valid
according to experts so that it can be used in learning. Research is motivated by the
lack of use of ICT-based media in the learning process in schools so that students
become less active and less interested in learning. So it is suggested that using
innovative learning media in the learning process so that it can help students to be
able to understand the learning material and active in the learning process with their
peers or with their teachers by having communicative and collaborative
characters.One step is autoplay media studio 8.0. The use of instructional media is
very necessary for the delivery of material because by using the visualization of the
material can be seen more clearly and interestingly.
The study design uses design research and development (Research and
Development) withusing the Plomp model. The average score of material expert
validatotion assessment is 88.25% and media validation ie91.69% with a valid
category. The response of students and teachers obtained a percentage of results by
81% with interesting categories and 4.27 with practical categories. The
implementation of chemistry learning media based on autoplay studio media 8.0 on
acid-base material to the improvement of the communicative character of students in
the experimental class was 72.29% compared to the control class which was only
42.25%. While the increase in students' collaborative character in the experimental
class was 71% compared to the control class which was only 47.5%.
