Pengembangan Perangkat Percobaan Koefisien Gesekan Menggunakan Mikrokontroler Arduino Uno Untuk Pembelajaran Fisika Dasar
The friction coefficient experiment tool developed by some previous
researchers still has some shortcomings, including the use of sensors that still fail
to be used, the formation of the slope angle is still done manually, and the tools
used to measure the static and kinetic friction coefficients are still done
separately. This study aims to develop a valid and practical experimental device
for use in basic physics lessons. The experimental device is designed with Arduino
Uno-based Microcontroller which can be used to see the coefficient of static and
kinetic friction simultaneously. The experimental device developed consisted of an
experimental tool and a guidebook.
This research was conducted at physics education laboratory of
Universitas Riau. The research model used in this study is the ADDIE model. The
stages carried out in this study are the stages of analyze, design and develop. In
this research, the validity and practicality tests of the experimental tools and
manuals were conducted. Based on the results of the validity test, the tool and the
guidebook friction coefficient were declared valid with an average rating of 3.43
and 3.44, respectively. Whereas the practicality test was conducted with lecturers
and physics education students as respondents. Based on practicality tests, tools
and manuals of the coefficient of friction test are declared practical with an
average rating of 3.57 and 3.67. Thus the friction coefficient experiment
developed has been called valid and practical for later use in actual learning.
