Strategi Pengembangan Layanan Kardiovakular Eka Hospital Pekanbaru
The aim of this study was to determine recommended strategy for the development of cardiovascular service of Eka Hospital Pekanbaru based on SWOT analysis. This study is a descriptive study that conducted in Eka Hospital Pekanbaru. This study uses primary data (internal) and secondary data (external) with the population of this study are management team of Eka Hospital Pekanbaru consisting of hospital director, regional director and all division heads. The entire populations are the sample in this study. Determination of strategic factors in internal and external factors, rating and weighting of each factor in the IFAS table and EFAS table were done through group discussion (FDG) involving the sampel in this study. X value is obtained from the difference between total multiplication rating and weight of each factor in the strength factors with total multiplication rating and weight of each factor in the weakness factors. X value is 0.86. Y value is obtained from the difference between total multiplication rating and weight of each factor in the opportunity factors with total multiplication of the rating and weight of each factor in the threat factors. Y value is also positive, 0.22.
Projections of X and Y values in the SWOT quadrant are in the first quadrant which indicates that the recommended strategy for the development of cardiovascular service of Eka Hospital Pekanbaru is a Progressive Strategy. This result indicates that Eka Hospital’s cardiovascular service have good strengths and opportunities. Functional strategies are formulated based on the progressive strategy in order to achieve progressive growth.
