Pengaruh Kepadatan Lalu Lintas Terhadap Konsentrasi Karbon Monoksida (Co) Dari Kegiatan Transportasi Di Kota Pekanbaru
Increased motor vehicle activity produces exhaust emissions that cause air
pollution,reducing air quality. This research is located at Pattimura and
WR.Supratman street as one of collector and local street in Pekanbaru. The
purpose of this research is to figure out the maximum consentration of carbon
monoxide (CO) and figure out the relationship between traffic congestion and
speed to consentration of CO at Pattimura and WR. Supratman street Pekanbaru.
The method used is recording traffic activities,and use the portable CO analyzer
to see the value of CO consentration. The biggest CO consentration and traffic
congestion is on Pattimura street which was on monday morning which is had
3944 units, and co consentration 5,02 ppm. The obtained data we tested using
statistical analysis multiple linier regression with spss 16.0. The statistical result
indicate the significant value of the number of vehicles to the CO consentration is
0,05. The test showed vehicle
amount has a significant impact compared to speed in terms of the produced
carbon monoxide (CO).
