Analisis Usaha Alat Tangkap Payang Di Korong Pasir Baru Kecamatan Sungai Limau Kabupaten Padang Pariaman Provinsi Sumatra Barat

This research was conducted on 24 February - 12 March 2020 in Korong Pasir Baru
Nagari Pilubang, Sungai Limau Sub-District, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra
Province. The purpose of this study is to calculate the amount of investment costs in the
fishing business using the Payang fishing gear, calculate the income and profit of the fishing
business using the Payang fishing gear, and to analyze the feasibility of fishing using Payang
fishing gear based on the existing RCR, FRR, and PPC investment criteria. in Pasia Baru. The
method used in this research is a survey method.
The total investment invested by Payang fishermen in Korong Pasia Baru in doing
business is an average of Rp259.744.807. The fixed capital issued by the ship owner is
Rp100,872,727 and working capital of Rp158.872.080. The net income per year of owner
fishermen based on profit sharing is Rp74.400.177 / year and for fishermen the labor is
Rp11,688,807 subordinates and Rp23,377,614. Based on the calculation of investment
criteria, it is found that the RCR value of the Payang fishermen is 1.70, which means that the
RCR value is> 1, so the business is profitable and feasible to continue. The FRR value of
Payang fishermen is 28,64% which means that the business of catching with Payang fishing
gear has a FRR value higher than the deposit interest rate at Bank BRI of 5.4% per year, it
would be better if the capital was invested in the arrest business rather than invested in the
bank, so this business is worth continuing. The PPC value for Payang fishermen is 3.51,
which means that the return on capital invested in Payang's business is for 3 year 5 months.
From the three calculated investment criteria, Payang's fishing gear business is feasible to
develop.
