Pengaruh Bahan Stek Dan Konsentrasi Zat Pengatur Tumbuh Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Tanaman Buah Naga (Hylocereus Costaricensis)

The purpose of study to determine the effect of cuttings and the
concentration of growth regulators and to determine a good treatment combination
for the growth of dragon fruit seedlings (Hylocereus costaricensis). This research
was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau
University, Bina Widya Campus Km 12.5, Simpang Baru Panam Village, Tampan
District, Pekanbaru. The time used in this study was 4 (four) months from May to
September 2019. The design used in this study was a factorial Completely
Randomized Design (CRD) with two treatment factors and three replications. The
first factor is cutting material, namely dragon fruit cuttings at the base of the
branch, the middle of the branch and the tip of the branch, while the second factor
is the concentration of growth regulators substance (GRS), namely concentration
of GRS is 6 g.10 ml-1 of water, concentration of GRS is 9 g.10 ml-1 of water and
concentration of GRS is 12 g.10 ml-1 of water. The parameters observed were
shoot emergence time, shoot length, shoot diameter, root emergence time, root
length, number of roots, root volume, seed fresh weight and seed dry weight. The
data obtained were analyzed by means of variance (ANOVA) followed by
Duncan's Multiple Range test at the 5% level. The results showed that the best
dragon fruit seeds grew on a combination of cuttings from the middle of the
branch with a GRS concentration of 9 g.10 ml-1 in the growth if dragon fruit
seedlings 90 days after planting.
