Pengaruh Pemberian Asap Cair Dan Biochar Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit Di Pembibitan Awal Pada Medium Tanah Sub Soil Inseptisol
The purpose of this study was to study the main effects of liquid smoke
and biochar and the combination of both on the growth of oil palm seedlings in
the initial growth phase. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden
of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau in July to September 2018. This
study used a factorial completely randomized design (RAL) consisting of 16
treatments and 3 replications. The first factor is liquid smoke consisting of 4
levels namely 0 ml / plant, 5 ml / plant, 10 ml / plant, 15 ml / plant and the second
factor is biochar consisting of 4 levels namely 0 g / plant, 50 g / plant , 100 g /
plant, 150 g / plant. This study uses sub soil soil inseptisol. The parameters
observed were seedling height, stem diameter, number of leaves, root volume and
dry weight. The data obtained were analyzed using variance analysis and
continued with Duncan's multiple range test at the 5% level. The results showed
no significant effect on seedling height and stem diameter and had a significant
effect on the number of leaves, root volume, dry weight.
