The sustainable management of Danau Raja in Indragiri Hulu District is
one of the efforts that can be done as a future plan for the Raja Lake environment
in Rengat Sub-District, Indragiri Hulu District so that mutual support is created
for life between humans and the environment in which they live. So research was
carried out on the sustainable management of Danau Raja, Indragiri Hulu
District with the aim of identifying environmental conditions, analyzing the index
and status of sustainability and formulating sustainable management of the
Danau Raja ecosystem in Indragiri Hulu District.
The results obtained show that the existing condition of Danau Raja,
Indragiri Hulu Regency is still suitable for the life of fishery biota, but it needs
measures that must be done on land to create sustainable environmental
protection. The status of sustainable management of Danau Raja, Indragiri Hulu
Regency in terms of ecology is not sustainable , from an economic point of view, it
is less sustainable, and from a socio-cultural perspective it is quite sustainable.
Sensitive attributes from all dimensions amount to 8 which must be improved and
maintained in quality. The attributes are (1) water condition, (2) tourism
potential, (3) fishing intensity, (4) environmental knowledge, (5) having
aesthetics, (6) number of FHs, (7) growing number of fishermen, ( 8) education
level. The management of Danau Raja, Indragiri Hulu Regency can be improved
by improving the eight sensitive attributes in stratified and sustainable ways
