Pengaruh Suku Bunga, Jumlah Uang Beredar Dan Kurs Terhadap Inflasi Di Indonesia Tahun 1986-2019
Inflation is a condition that results in an event of increasing prices in general or
the process of prices increasement in general continuously. The calculation of
inflation is carried out through two approaches, namely the Consumer Price
Index and the Producer Price Index (PPI). From this research, it will be seen how
the amount of money that can be supplied, interest rates, and exchange rates on
influencing the inflation. This study aims to prove the effect of SBI interest rates,
inflation, and the amount of money supply on inflation in Indonesia. The period
which is used in this study is the annual data starting from years 1986 to 2019.
This research was conducted to see the development of the inflation rate in
Indonesia which is influenced by the amount of supplied money, interest rates and
exchange rates. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative, by using
multiple linear regression analysis model with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS)
analysis technique which previously passed the classical assumption test stage. In
addition, the coefficient of determination, simultaneous statistical test (f test) and
hypothesis testing using partial statistical tests (t test) were also carried out. Data
processing is carried out using the SPSS application. From the output of SPSS,
the determinant coefficient R2 is the BI Rate and has a positive and significant
effect on inflation. The Money Supply has no positive effect yet still insignificant
on inflation, while exchange rate has a positive and significant effect on inflation.
The test results of the coefficient of determination show that the value of Adjusted
R Square = 77.2%, which means that changes in the independent variable of
inflation can be explained or influenced by changes in the dependent variables (BI
Rate, Money Supply, Exchange Rate) of 77.2%, while the remaining 22.8% were
validated or helped by other variables not included in this study.
