Kajian Sifat Fisik Beton Dengan Additive Natrium Tripolyphosphate Pada Pengecoran Beton Dalam Air Gambut
ABSTRACT
UWC is one type of high-performance concrete for the work of fresh concrete
casting, where conditions in the field have a groundwater level that can’t be
avoided. Underwater concrete casting does not allow the compaction process to be
carried out so that concrete with certain liquid properties is needed, fresh concrete
that can flow, does not mix with water, and can solidify itself. One way is to add
AWA additives (Admixtures Washout Agent) such as Sodium Tripolyphosphate
(STPP) which aims to bind the concrete mixture so that the fresh concrete mixture
does not dissolve in water. This research was carried out experimentally with a
percentage of 10% STPP of cement weight referring to previous studies (Purwati
et al). Porosity and volume weight tests were carried out on 6 each specimen and
FT-IR testing was carried out on 2 specimens. The specimens were each measuring
10 cm x 20 cm with curing for 28 and 56 days. The test results of volume weight 28
and 56 days respectively were 2262,271 kg/m3 and 2271,331 kg/m3. The porosity
test value in concrete with 28 days is 20.847% decreased by 0.165% against the
concrete age of 56 days which is equal to 20.024%. It can be concluded that there
is no effect of peat water at 56 days on the physical properties of concrete.
