Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Stad Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Peserta Didik Kelas Vii.G Smpn 1 Siak Hulu
Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and improve
the mathematics learning outcomes of Class VII.G students of SMPN 1 Siak Hulu
in the 2018/2019 academic year through the application of the STAD type
cooperative learning model. This research was motivated by the percentage of
students who reached the KKM which was 28.12%, namely 9 out of 32 students,
it was seen that 71.88% of the Class VII.G students of SMPN 1 Siak Hulu were
under KKM. The KKM set by the school for social arithmetic material is 70. The
research instrument consists of learning tools and data collection instruments. The
learning tools used were the syllabus, lesson plans and worksheet. The data
collection instruments used in this study were observation sheets and mathematics
learning outcomes tests. The observation sheet was analyzed using qualitative
descriptive, while the mathematics learning outcome test was analyzed using
descriptive statistics. Based on the qualitative descriptive analysis, it shows that
the implementation of the learning process in cycle II has improved from the
implementation of cycle I. Weaknesses in cycle I were corrected in the
implementation of cycle II in accordance with the improvement plan after
reflection in cycle I. UH II. The number of students who reached the KKM on the
basic score, UH I and UH II were 9 (28.12%), 14 (43.75%) and 24 (75%)
respectively. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the
application of the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve the
learning process and improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class VII.G
students of SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu in the even semester of the 2018/2019
academic year.
