Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Dengan Model Kooperatif Menggunakan Pendekatan Reciprocal Teaching Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Pada Materi Himpunan Kelas VII SMP
This research is motivated by the lack of Mathematical Communication Skill of students due to the lack of learning devices that develop the Mathematical Communication Skill of students, especially Students’ Worksheets (LKPD). In line with that, the purpose of this research is to develop a mathematical learning device that qualifies as valid and practical to facilitate Mathematical Communication skills in the 8th grade junior high school on set material. The material set was chosen because the results of the 2019 National Exam year were below the minimum government-set score, that was 50.
type of research used was developmental research or research and development. Learning tools developed was using ADDIE model are: (1) analysis stage (analyze) : (a) analysis of needs ; b) analysis of learning materials; c) analysis of the characteristics of students), (2) the design stage (selecting the format and designing learning devices in the form of syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), and LKPD), (3) development stage The development phase is carried out by activities, namely the development of learning resources and validation of learning resources (4) Implementation. At this stage implemented designs and methods that have been developed in real situation in the classroom. And (5) evaluation : (formative evaluation and sumative evaluation). In this study, the development stage was only carried out until practicality test to see the practicality of learning tools developed, this is due to the covid-19 outbreak in Pekanbaru.
Learning tools developed consist of syllabus, RPP, and LKPD. Instruments used to obtain data on the validity of learning tools were validation sheets while instruments used to collect practical data were students' response questionnaires. The results show that the learning tools developed have fulfilled aspects of validity and practicality. (1) validity results show that learning tools developed in the category is very valid with an average value on the syllabus 3.81, on RPP 3.62, on LKPD 3.51, on the test instrument 3.45. (2) limited trial results show mathematics learning tools developed is in the very practical category 3.41.
Learning tools was then tested to 10 students of 8th grade in Pagrantapah Junior High School who had obtained or studied set materials to determine the readability of the developed LKPD. The results of the response questionnaire of students at the limited trial stage show LKPD meets very practical criteria with an average score of 3.36. LKPD was revised in accordance with advice and feedback from students.
The revised learning tools was later used as a product of the results of this study. The results of learning tools development research that has been conducted show that mathematics learning tools with kooperative model uses a reciprocal
teaching approach to facilitate mathematical communication skills in set material of 8th grade junior high school is valid and practical.
