Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Model Discovery Learning Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Peserta Didik Pada Materi Trigonometri Kelas X SMA
The background of this research is student’s abilities are not optimal in mathematical communication skills because they are lack of learning tools that train them about mathematical communication skills, especially student worksheet (SW).In line with that, the purpose of this study is to develop mathematical communication in the class X SMA class line and series material. The line and series material were chosen because the results of the 2019 National Examination (NE) were below the minimum score(below 5.0) it is set by the government
The type of this research is development researchm learning tools which are developed use 4 D model stages, Those are : 1. Define stage, 2. Designing stage, 3. Developing Stage, 4. Dissrminating stage. In the developing stage, was only carried out until the practical test just to see the current condition og the Covid-19 outbreak in Rengat.
At the defining stage, it discusses the preliminary final analysis, student analysis, task analysis, material analysis, formulation of learning objectives. In the planned planning stage, the syllabus, RPP, and LKPD will be developed. In the development stage, it is discussed about the devices that have been made and approved by the supervisor then validated by the validator using the learning device validation sheet. Validated tools are in the form of syllabus, lesson plan, student worksheet, and student response questionnaire sheets, and the dissemination stage.
The learning tools which are developed consist of syllabus, lesson plan (LP), and SW (Student worksheet). There are three instrument used in this research. The first instrument is validity sheet to get validity data of learning tools anad the second one is implementation observation sheet and student’s questionnaire. Learning tools will be said valid in this research if the result is more than 70% based on validator assesment. Meanwhile, it will be said practical if the percentage level obtains from student’s questionnaire more than 70%. Based on the result of validity analysis, it can be concluded that mathematic learning tools which are discovery learning have been valid with the result syllabus validity 85,83%, LP (lesson Plan) 92% and student’s worksheet (SW) 92,45%. It is concluded by validator that learning tools developed in the from of syllabus and LP can be tested with various revisions. Learning tool has been tested to 10 student of X MIA class SMA N 2 Rengat, who have studied about sequence and series material. It aims to see the readability of student worksheet that is developed. Based on the result of student’s questionnaires at the limited trial stage show that student’s worksheet meets very practical criteria with percentage obtained 85,20%. Student’s worksheet was revised based on

suggestions from student’s. After revising the learning tools became the pruduct of this reserch. The result of the research Development of discovery learning tools
to facilitate the ability of mathematical communication in sequence and series has been valid and LKPD practical.
