Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Fisika Berbasis Mobile Augmented Reality Pada Materi Lapisan Bumi Dan Bencana Untuk Kelas VII Sekolah Menengah Pertama
This study aims to create a product in the form of a printed module and a CD containing AR applications. The AR application on the CD is transferred and installed to the mobile phone. Augmented reality technology in the form of 3D animation and video appears by scanning markers or images in the module using the AR application camera on the mobile phone. One of the 3D animations shown is the earth animation, while one of the videos shown is a video about layers in the atmosphere. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) method combined with a development ADDIE model. The ADDIE model consists of some stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research is only up to the Development stage. The data sources used in this study are the assessment scores derived from a checklist questionnaire (√) filled out by the expert validators. The data shows that the validation score of the material is 3.48 (high category) and that of the media is 3.51 (very high category). In conclusion, the result of this research indicates that the physics learning media based on mobile augmented reality on earth’s layer and disaster topic for grade VII Junior High School is valid in terms of the material and the media. Therefore, it’s already feasible to conduct further research about the implementation of this media by directly testing it to the field.
