This research aims to know how community participation and how to manage the tourism object of Sarasah Murai Nagari Harau Waterfall Regency of fifty West Sumatera province and at the stage of development of existing tourism objects and potentially to be developed. This research describes qualitative methods with a descriptive approach to describing the real state by collecting data and information in field. There is a research subject of researchers using the informant as many as 9 people concerned with the subindicators. With the data collection techniques in this study use observations, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the public response to community participation in the management of the Tourism object Sarasah Murai Nagari Harau Regency of Limfifty City West Sumatera Province has been running in four indicators of participation, namely investors, executor, managers, and monitors, each already involve the community in every participation, but on the investor's indicator is not optimal because , while the planner indicator has not been carried out because it has not involved local communities.
