Sistem Penyimpanan Bahan Pastry Di Travelodge Hotel Batam
Storage system is a way and steps for storage in order to make it easy at work. In a company should be attention the storage system of materials the will be managed. This research aims to determine how important the attention of the material storage system, storage SOP, material storage facilities and stock card inventory / logbook of the entry and exit of material taken from the theory of Utari (2009) at Travelodge Hotel Batam. The data collection technique are using interview, observation and documentation. Based on this research, the results is showed that the pastry material storage system at Travelodge Hotel Batam is rated not good enough or still not in accordance with established standards. The type of material based on temperature and the place must be in accordance with the state of the material. If this type of material is not durable it must be kept clean and has an adjusted temperature. Material that is not durable must do a stock rotation so as not to bring about a high level of damage to the material. Shometimes the arrangement or placement of materials does not appropriate the order of arrival and the first in first out. Many materials have long been buried by new materials which results in cost control. Because employes more often use materials that are easier to retrieve so that old material is stored for too long and will eventually be damaged.
