Analisis Sarana Penyeberangan Dan Perilaku Pejalan Kaki Menyeberang Di Ruas Jalan Soekarna-Hatta Kota Pekanbaru (Mall Ska Dan Mall Living World)
As a city that continues to grow, Pekanbaru tries to meet the needs of the urban community by providing several large-scale trade facilities, one of which is the SKA Mall and the Living World Mall. With the location of the SKA Mall and the Living World Mall which are only limited by Soekarno-Hatta roads, there will be a possibility for visitors to the two malls to move between malls. The provision of a crossing facility in the form of a zebra crossing by the Pekanbaru City Government on the Soekarno-Hatta road segment has never been used by road crossers on this road segment. The road crossers prefer to use the u-turn facility under the fly over to cross the Soekarno-Hatta road section rather than the zebra crossing facilities that have been provided. This study aims to determine the condition of the pedestrian crossing facility in the form of a zebra crossing at the Soekarno-Hatta road intersection and to determine the behavior of the users of the crossing using the u-turn on the Soekarno-Hatta road.
The research method used is a descriptive survey method with a quantitative approach through the analysis of the average daily rate of vehicles and road pedestrians as well as a questionnaire / questionnaire analysis with a Likert scale approach. Based on the results of traffic counting observations and analysis of the average daily rate of vehicles and road crossers, the Soekarno Hatta road section, precisely between SKA Mall and Living World Mall, has a high level of mobility, with a Pr result of 320 people / hour crossing the road, a Vr of 3,944 vehicles / hour crossing these roads, and the average Pv2 is 4.97 x 109, so that to support the safety of pedestrians / road crossers and smooth traffic flow it is recommended to use pelican crossing facilities with waiting stalls. With an average number of crossers of 320 people / hour, most of them cross the Soekarno Hatta road to move from SKA Mall to Living World Mall or vice versa (62%), with the main objective of shopping, working and traveling. Increasing the crossing facilities from zebra crossing to pelican with waiting stalls, adding other supporting facilities including lighting and implementing new rules at Soekarno Hatta road intersections need to be implemented to ensure the safety of pedestrians / road crossers and the smooth flow of traffic on these roads.
