Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Dengan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching And Learning Berorientasi Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Untuk Siswa SMP Kelas VIII Materi Statistika
Most students have difficulty for learning mathematics because of mathematical abstract objects. Teachers can link everyday life with math material to make it easier for students to learn mathematics. One of the learning concepts that can connect learning material with everyday life is Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. Mathematical communication skills are needed to make it easier for students to learn mathematics from everyday life. The purpose of this research was to produce mathematics learning devices based on CTL approach oriented at student’s mathematical communication skills valid for 2nd grade junior high school students with the topic is statistics. This research is a research to development a product with ADDIE development model that combines development and implementation step then become A-D-DI-E. The mathematics learning devices consisted of one syllabus, four lesson plans, and four student worksheets. The data collection technique used was validation by two mathematics education lecturers as expert validators and one junior high school mathematics teacher as practitioner validator. The trials one by one were done by three students to determine student’s readability towards student worksheets. The results show that mathematics learning devices are declared valid and student worksheet declared readable based on the trials one dy one.
