Keragaan Sifat Agronomi Populasi F6 Kedelai (Glycine Max L. Merril) Hasil Persilangan Varietas Grobogan Dengan Km 25
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the agronomic properties of the F6 generation
of soybean plants from crossing Grobogan and KM25. A total of 12 genotypes
consisting of 10 F6 lines and 2 parents were planted in the experimental garden of
the UPT Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University in Pekanbaru. Each genotype
was planted on a plot with a size of 300 cm X 200 cm with a spacing of 40 cm X
20 cm using a randomized block design with three replications. The variables
observed included plant height, number of main branches, flowering age, harvest
age, total number of pods, number of pithy pods, number of seeds per plant,
weight of seeds per plant, yield per m2, weight of 100 seeds, plant dry weight and
harvest index.Variance analysis was carried out and continued with the Dunnet
test at the 5% level using the SAS program. The results of the analysis of variance
showed that there was a significant difference between the F6 soybean lines and
the parents.Significant differences in the characters of plant height, number of
main branches, age of flowering, harvesting age, number of pithy pods , number
of seeds per plant, weight of seeds and yield per m2. Wide diversity and
significant heritability were found in the characters of harvest age and yield per
m2, which meant that these characters were more influenced by genetic factors.
The lines that had a higher yield potential than the comparison parents were
GK25-3-22, GK25-3-37 and GK25-3-19 because they had higher yield
components compared to the two parents.Meanwhile, the other lines were
relatively the same as the two comparison parents.
