Pengaruh Variasi Spektrum Cahaya Led Dan Terkonsentris Terhadap Vitalitas Alga Chlorella Kessleri Dan Chlorella Sp Menggunakan Biochip-G
The decline in the quality of aquatic resources due to pollution from agricultural and industrial activities has become a particular concern in recent years. For this reason, prevention efforts are made by observing the determinants of water quality, one of which is the level of dissolved oxygen (DO). DO levels were detected using a biosensor module integrated with a microchip, namely the type G biochip. This study was conducted to determine the effect of variations in the light spectrum and the effect of giving lenses on the vitality of Chlorella kessleri and Chlorella sp algae in producing DO expressed in the form of output potential. The results showed that the percentage of potential reduction when the algae Chlorella kessleri cells were immobilized was 6.9% and Chlorella sp was 8.6% towards the potential when the biochip was empty and without the influence of light. The percentage of potential reduction when Chlorella kessleri algae is exposed to a red spectrum is 1.27% of the potential when the algae cell is exposed to light with a blue spectrum, while the potential reduction generated when the algae Chlorella sp is exposed to the red light spectrum is 8.27% of potential when Chlorella sp is exposed to a blue spectrum. The average potential reduction generated when measuring the DO level of Chlorella kessleri algae using a lens and influenced by light (LED ON) is 1.77% of the potential when measuring without using a lens, while the average reduction in DO potential of Chlorella sp algae with the condition using a lens and influenced by artificial light (LED ON), which is 3.01% of the potential when measuring without using a lens with the LED ON condition.
