Abstract
This research was conducted in October 2018 at the Nusantara Fishery
Port Palabuhanratu of sukabumi, West Java Province. This research was
conducted with the aim of finding the relationship between fishing trips, tonase
and engine age on the amount of fuel oil that will be used by troll-line fishing
boat when operating the ship. This study used a survey method by observing and
collecting direct information. The results showed that the amount of fuel oil used
by troll-line fishing boats was influenced by fishing trips, tonase and engine age.
These three factors have a positive effect on the amount of fuel used by troll-line
fishing boats.
Methods of Conducting Direct Observation and Information The total
percentage of the effect fishing trip, tonase and engine age on the use of fuel oil
for troll-line fishing boat is 53.5 percent.
