ABSTRAK
This research was conducted in june 2018 at the Fishing Port Tanjung Tiram. This
study aims to determine the quality of servive and the application of the SOP
approval letter, the method used is the survey method. Data collection is carried out
mainly from primary and secondary data. Based on the results of research, the
Tanjung Tiram Fishing Port has been used as a liaison for fishing boats to park the
boats and loading and loading and unloading the catch so that they can sell their
catch at the place where the fish is sold. This phenomenon originated from the
number of fishing boats anchored on the river that connects land and sea. So that eith
the tanjung tiram fishing port, it makes it easier for fishermen to sell their catch at
fish selling points. Tanjung Tiram Fishing Port this is where fishing boats gather
from traditional fishermen and modern fishermen. Efery day fishing boats dock and
go to sea to catch fish from the Tanjung Tiram Fishing Port. Based on the fishing
activities that occur in the Tanjung Tiram Fishing Port this port can be developed
into a type D port, this is in accordance with the decree of the minister of marine and
fisheries number 10 0f 2004 regarding the gruping of ports with criteria for port D
type.
