ABSTRACT
The study about implementation fishing technique domain of trolling line
fishing vessel to EAFM-based fishery management at Bungus ocean fishing port,
west sumatera province conducted on December 2020. Ecosystem Approach to
Fisheries Management (EAFM) is a concept of how to balance management
dimensions through an integrated and ecosystem-based approach. The purpose of this
study was to describe the indicator of fishing technique domain of trolling line fishing
vessel to EAFM-based fishery management in Bungus ocean fishing port and to
assess EAFM-based fishery management on fishing technique indicator of trolling
line fishing vessel in Bungus ocean fishing port. Assessment methods are based on
the methods used by the National Working Group on EAFM and the Indonesian
Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. The result shown that the fisheries
management on trolling line fishing vessel at the Bungus ocean fishing port was
categorized as “very good” with the composite value of 81 and the flag model in dark
green.
