Rengat Lakeside Resort Dengan Penerapan Eco-Tech Architecture

ABSTRACT
Rengat is the capital of Indragiri Hulu Regency which has several tourist
attractions. One of the tourist attractions that are often visited is Raja Lake which
is located on Jalan Sultan Rengat. The location of the lake is quite strategic because
it is in the city of Rengat. The lake has enormous potential and has a large number
of visitors. However, there are several things that cause the number of visitors to
decrease. Some of the factors causing the reduced number of visitors to Lake Raja
Tourism Object are caused by unfulfilled visitor demands or needs. For this reason,
the quality of tourism areas can be improved by providing facilities that can meet
various recreational needs in a design. Resort design is an appropriate design to
advance the Lake Raja tourist attraction and increase the economic income of
Rengat City. In designing Rengat Lakeside Resort, a design approach is needed
that provides comfort and convenience for visitors but still pays attention to the
balance of the environment. The right design approach is Eco-Tech Architecture,
which is a design approach that is linked and in harmony with the environment and
concerns about global environmental conservation with an emphasis on energy
efficiency of land use and effective waste management in architectural settings.
