Penerapan Pencahayaan Alami Pada Sentra Kerajinan Tenun Pandai Sikek Kabupaten Tanah Datar

ABSTRACT
The diversity of cultural heritage is the hallmark of each region in
Indonesia. One of them is located in Nagari Pandai Sikek, Tanah Datar Regency,
which is known for its unique weaving craft, namely the smoothness and luxury
of Songket cloth, its manufacturing techniques, motif variations, and cultural
continuity by local natives. Pandai Sikek's weaving works are authentic, so they
risk being eroded over time because their consumption is limited to traditional and
formal events in West Sumatra. Therefore we need a center that can develop the
work of Pandai Sikek to expand the weaving craft market. Another factor that
exists is the unavailability of a Center that facilitates direct interaction between
enthusiasts, craftsmen, and entrepreneurs of Pandai Sikek weaving crafts, Tanah
Datar Regency. The strategic location of this design is on the Sumatran causeway
around Nagari Pandai Sikek which is not far from the clothing wholesale center in
Bukittinggi. In this design, side lighting and top lighting natural lighting systems
will be applied.
