ABSTRACT
Jalan Kartini is a local road with an undivided 2-lane type 2-lane road (2/2 TB) connected
to the Garuda Sakti road with a total road length of 1 km and a road width of 7 m which is
located in Karya Indah Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. Jalan Kartini is
currently still a dirt road that does not yet have a pavement layer. In the rainy season it
will cause stagnant water and during the dry season the road will cause dust. So it takes a
thick rigid pavement planning because around the road there are elementary schools,
mosques and community settlements so that the road has the potential to be a connecting
road that helps people's lives and economies. To prove this hypothesis, a study was carried
out using the direct survey method, planning the pavement thickness using the 2017
Indonesian Road pavement Manual method, the study was conducted to plan the thickness
of rigid pavement on Jalan Kartini. Based on the results of the study, the plan for the
thickness of the concrete slab is 265 mm, the LMC foundation layer is 100 mm, the drainage
layer is 150 mm using welded reinforcement with a diameter of 8 mm with a distance of
200 mm, 36 mm diameter dowels with a length of 450 mm and a distance of 300 mm. and
tie bar with a diameter of 16 mm with a length of 700 mm with a distance of 750mm.
