Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran E-Learning Berbasis Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Pada Materi Fluida Statis Kelas XI SMA
The COVID-19 pandemic is a tragedy that grieves the entire population of the earth. All segments of human life on earth are disrupted, without exception education. On March 24, 2020 the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia issued Circular Letter Number 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education Policies in the Emergency Period for the Spread of COVID, in the Circular it was explained that the learning process was carried out at home through online/distance learning. This situation requires learning in the pandemic era to experience an atmosphere of teaching and learning activities that is very much different from face-to-face learning. Although this is a new climate in the learning process, this situation can be a great opportunity to find other more effective alternatives through online learning. Because along with the times, education must also be able to transform innovatively by following technological developments by being integrated into it.
The purpose of research in this thesis is to design and produce an e-learning learning device based on the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) system on static fluid material for class XI SMA by using a platform via the web/Moodle application. Projections and objectives This research should be able to produce a learning device product that can be used effectively and efficiently in online learning by using a MOOC system that has been designed in such a way along with cool content and features in it. Although designed for online learning, this learning tool still instills constructivism learning theory that can help students construct their understanding in an exploratory manner. This learning tool consists of lesson plans, LKPD, and learning assessments. For lesson plans and learning assessments can be accessed easily and attractively on the system along with other magical content and features.
This research was developed at the Physics Education Laboratory, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University. The research was conducted from July 2020-
April 2021. The development of this e-learning learning tool uses a Research and Development (R&D) research model with a 4D development model consisting of the Define, Design, Development, and Disseminates (Spreading). However, in this research, the development stage only reaches the Development stage. Data collection in the Define stage analysis was distributed through questionnaires via googleform to students and for the product development and testing process using a validation sheet by 3 expert validators to test the feasibility of the resulting product.
Learning device products were validated 2 times. In validation 1 the score obtained is still not valid so it needs to be revised and corrected. So that after it has been corrected according to the suggestions and input of the validators, in validation 2 then the resulting product is declared valid with a score of 3.46 which is included in the high category. Thus, based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)-based e-learning learning device for static fluid material for class XI SMA is valid and feasible so that it can be tested or applied as a learning tool in schools.
