Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Model Discovery Learning Pada Materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar Kelas VIII SMTS/Mts

This research to produce a product in the form mathematical learning
devices using discovery learning model on polyhedron material of class VIII
SMP/MTs. The development model used is the 4-D model namely define, design,
develop, and disseminate. The research instrument used is validity instrument
and practicality. The instrument is a validation assessment sheet to assess the
validity of learning tools form of syllabus, lesson plans and student worksheet.
The practical instrument is a student response questionnaire to assess the
readability of the LAS. The mathematical learning devices developed are
validated by three validators. Small group trials were carried out on students of
SMPN 8 Pekanbaru. The results of the validity data analysis obtained an
average value for the syllabus, lesson plans and LAS respectively 3,78; 3,67; and
3,59 which are categorized as very valid. The results of the practicality data
analysis of LAS in the small group trial were 3,72 with the very practical
category. This research and development produces a product that is a
mathematical learning device using discovery learning model on polyhedron
material which includes valid syllabus, lesson plan and student worksheets and
practical worksheets.
