Analisis Implementasi Tata Kelola Bank Yang Baik Terhadap Kinerja Pt. Bank Riau Kepri Periode Tahun 2010-2019

This study aims to examine whether the implementation of good corporate
governance on banking institutions affects PT Bank Riau Kepri (PT BRK)
performance. To measure the implementation of good corporate governance on
banking institutions, we used the presence of the Board of Commissioners, the
Board of Directors, the Audit Committee, the Internal Audit, and the
implementation of Risk Management.
This case study was conducted at PT Bank Riau Kepri (PT BRK) during
the observation from 2010 to 2019. The data were obtained from published or
unpublished reports: quarterly financial reports and Governance Outcome
Reports by PT BRK, then analyzed by using the Warp-PLS 6.0 software.
Generally, our findings indicates the implementation of corporate
governance on banking institutions has a significant effect on the PT BRK
performance. Specifically, this study finds the presence of Board of
Commissioners Board of Directors, the Audit Committee, the implementation of
risk management, had a significant negative effect toward the PT BRK
performance. The results implications of this study recommend that stakeholders
shoud encourage PT BRK to implement good corporate governance as a strategic
move to improve the firm performance.
