Pengaruh Konsep Diri Dan Kecerdasan Emosional Terhadap Integritas Guru SMP Negeri Kecamatan Bangko Pusako Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to describe the effect of self-concept and emotional intelligence on the integrity of SMP Negeri teachers, Bangko Pusako District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The background of the problem in this study is that the teachers of SMP Negeri Bangko Pusako District, Rokan Hilir Regency, do not yet have high integrity such as the administrative completeness of good learning tools such as annual programs, semester programs, syllabus, lesson plans and others, but in the implementation of the learning process more than 50% of teachers carry out the learning process that is not in accordance with the administrative completeness they make. The administrative completeness is mostly the result of copy and paste without any revision at all. This symptom indicates the teacher's dishonesty in the implementation of the learning process, because in the RPP the teacher uses media, methods, approaches that are in accordance with the material, but in practice some teachers do not use media, methods, and approaches that are relevant to the material. Teachers are more likely to pursue the target of 24 hours of teaching per week compared to teaching with a sense of responsibility as an educator, because there are still teachers who are reluctant to enter an empty coworker's class even though they are not in a teaching position so a sense of belonging needs to be fostered and fostered. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative research and survey method with correlational research (correlational research). The data collection technique used is a questionnaire with 110 respondents from 150 teachers in Bangko Pusako District, Rokan Hilir Regency who were randomly selected as samples using the Slovin formula. The research method was carried out, namely the respondents gave responses to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale consisting of five answer options, namely Strongly Agree, Agree, Hesitate, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. Analysis of the data used is descriptive and inferential statistics.
Based on the data analysis, the positive and significant effect of self-concept on the integrity of the SMP Negeri Bangko Pusako sub-district, Rokan Hilir district was 16.6%, while the remaining 83.4% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study. Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of the self-concept variable X1 on the integrity of teacher Y has a low interpretation or influence; Furthermore, the positive and significant effect of emotional intelligence on the integrity of the teachers of SMP Negeri Bangko Pusako District, Rokan Hilir Regency was 18.9%, while the remaining 81.1% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study. Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of the emotional intelligence variable on integrity has an interpretation or influence in the low category; and It was found that the positive and significant influence of self-concept and emotional intelligence on the integrity of the teachers of SMP Negeri Bangko Pusako District, Rokan Hilir
Regency was 36.1%, while the remaining 63.9% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study. Thus, it can be concluded that the positive and significant influence of self-concept and emotional intelligence on teacher integrity has an interpretation or influence in the low category.
