The purpose of this study is to analyze (1) Planning extracurricular activities at
SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar, Kampar Regency, (2) Organizing extracurricular
activities at SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar, Kampar Regency, (3) Implementation of
extracurricular activities at SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar RegencyKampar, and (4)
Evaluation of extracurricular activities at SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar, Kampar
Regency.This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach.
Techniques and procedures for data collection in this study through interviews,
observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with qualitative
methods are the data reduction stage, data presentation, conclusion drawing and
verification stages. based on the results of the study it can be concluded that (1)
At the planning stage in designing extracurricular activities, the principal holds a
joint meeting with the teacher assembly and school committee, then the principal
makes a decree which is shown to the teacher who is given the tasas an
extracurricular builder who does have skills and experts in their field and the
principal gives the authority to make a program of activities, (2) at the organizing
stage, the principal together with the extracurricular builder teacher makes a
management structure that is led directlyby the principal and assisted by other
teachers as activity supervisors, (3) At the implementation stage, these
extracurricular activities are carried out indoors and in the school yard by
involving all students who choose the extracurricular activities they like, and (4)
At this stageevaluation of activities, the principal assesses the results of
extracurricular activities in the form of the personality of the students and the
achievements achieved by the students as a result of their participation in
extracurricular activities and gives appreciation or appreciation to the coaches
for the results achieved in the activitiesimplementation of extracurricular
activities at SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar.
