Pengaruh Konsep Diri Dan Kecerdasan Sosial Terhadap Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru PAI Di Kecamatan Mempura
This study aims to describe the effect of self-concept and social intelligence
on PAI pedagogic competence in Mempura sub-district, Siak Regency. The
problem in this study is that there are indications of teachers who have difficulty
in making learning administration by 85%, then 75% of teachers design RPP
syllabus and the curriculum used in each semester is only replaced by year, then
80% for some students PAI lessons are boring learning because the teacher
cannot vary the teaching methods so far, resulting in students experiencing
difficulties in actualizing their various potentials. The type of this research is
descriptive quantitative research with explanatory method. The data collection
technique used is non-probability sampling with the technique taken is saturated
sampling (census). The research method was carried out, namely the respondents
gave responses to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale consisting of five
answer choices, namely Always, Often, Sometimes, Rarely, and Never. The data
analysis used is descriptive and inferential statistics.
Based on the data analysis, it was obtained that the effect of self-concept on
pedagogic competence was 28.1%, meaning that the influence of self-concept on
the pedagogic competence of PAI teachers in Mempura District, Siak Regency
was 28.1%. Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of self-concept on the
pedagogic competence of PAI teachers in Mempura District, Siak Regency has a
low interpretation or influence; Furthermore, the effect of social intelligence on
pedagogic competence is 14.6%, meaning that the influence of social intelligence
variables on the pedagogic competence of PAI teachers in Mempura District, Siak
Regency is 14.6%. Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of social
intelligence variables on pedagogic competence has an interpretation or influence
in the low category; and The effect of self-concept and social intelligence together
on pedagogic competence is 29.2%, meaning that the influence of self-concept
and social intelligence variables together on pedagogic competence is 29.2%.
Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of self-concept and social intelligence
together on the pedagogic competence of PAI teachers in Mempura District, Siak
Regency has an interpretation or influence in the low category.
