Profil Kasus Korban Hidup Akibat Penganiayaan Yang Diperiksa Di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau Periode 2015 - 2019
Violence is an act that deliberately causes bad feelings, injury or pain, and
can damage the health of others (body and spirit). The types of wounds that
resulted from the mistreatment were abrasions, bruises, lacerations, cuts, stab
wounds, cut wounds, burns and broken bones. This study aims to determine the
profile of cases of injury due to abuse examined at Bhayangkara Hospital
Pekanbaru, Riau Province for the period 2015-2019. The research design used
was a retrospective descriptive study of the Visum et Repertum (VeR) data of
injuries at Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru, Riau Province for the period 2015-
2019. The number of cases of injury due to violence in this study was 3,080 cases.
The sex most frequently subjected to abuse was male (70.9%) with the greatest
age range of 20-29 years (37.9%). The majority of victims' occupations examined
were mostly self-employed (21.7%). The type of wound most often found among
victims of abuse was bruising (67.1%). The location of the wound due to abuse
was most often found in the head area (71.9%). The highest degree of injury
suffered by cases of living victims as a result of mistreatment was mild (77.4%).
