Gambaran Albuminuria Pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 Di Beberapa Rumah Sakit Di Kota Pekanbaru
Diabetes mellitus (DM) type 2 is a prolonged metabolic disorder caused by the pancreas not being able to produce enough insulin. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus will cause various complications, both microvascular and macrovascular. Manifestation of macrovascular complications are known as coronary heart disease, cerebral thrombosis, and gangrene. The disease of microvascular complications that can occur in DM patient are retinopathy and nefropati diabetic (ND). ND is marked by albumin on the urine or also called albuminuria. The study aims to find out the albuminuria images on DM type 2 patients at multiple hospitals in the Pekanbaru city. The design of this study is a descriptive sectional cross sectional with total sampling method. The result of this study obtained 32 samples
of DM type 2 patients. Characteristics of type 2 DM patients are mostly women
suffering from diabetes ≤5 years (62.5%).
