Gambaran Status Gizi Pada Remaja Putri Smpn 7 Pekanbaru
Adolescents are individuals in the range age of 10-19 years characterized by
significant physical and psychological changes that require a balanced
nutritional intake according to the body's needs. The requirement of nutrients
fulfillment in adolescent girls are related to their role in the future as prospective
mothers who will give birth the nation's next generation. The imbalance between
intake and nutritional requirements can cause nutritional status problems in
adolescent girls, namely malnutrition and overnutrition. The purpose of this study
was to describe the nutritional status of adolescent girls at SMPN 7 Pekanbaru.
This research was a descriptive observational study. The sampling technique was
purposive sampling method with 60 people as a sample. Body weight was
measured by weight scales while height was measured by a microtoise. The
characteristics of adolescent girls were obtained by a research form. The results
showed that 6 people (10%) had low nutritional status, 40 people (66.7%) good
nutritional status, 12 people (20%) over nutritional status and 2 people (3.3%)
obesity. Based on the results of the study, it was found that most of the nutritional
status of adolescent girls at SMPN 7 Pekanbaru was a good nutritional status .
