Pengaruh Pemaparan Paraquat Terhadap Diameter Tubulus Seminiferus Mencit (Mus Musculus)
One example of the most widely used herbicide is paraquat. Paraquat
poisoning has been reported as a result of improper use and the absence of
personal protective equipment used. Paraquat can cause damage to reproductive
organs such as the testes. The purpose of this study was to determine the
histopathological changes in the seminiferous tubules of mice (Mus musculus)
after exposure to paraquat. This research is an experimental study with a posttest-
only research design with a control group design and uses 15 mice as a
sample which is divided into 5 groups. One group is the control. Four groups as
treatment groups were exposed to different doses of paraquat, namely 25 kg/day,
50 kg/day, 75 kg /day, and 100 kg/day for 7 days by spraying. Data analysis used
the One Way ANOVA test and Kruskal-Wallis test as an alternative. The results of
this study showed a decrease in the diameter of the seminiferous tubules of mice
(Mus musculus) in the histopathological picture of the treatment group as the
dose was increased. This study also showed that there was a significant difference
in the diameter of the seminiferous tubules of mice (Mus musculus) when exposed
to graded doses of paraquat for 7 days (p
