Pengaruh Edukasi Menyusui Prenatal Terhadap Pengetahuan, Niat Dan Efikasi Diri Tentang Menyusui Pada Ibu Hamil Trimester Iii Di Puskesmas Sidomulyo Rawat Inap
Breastmilk is the best food for babies, especially for babies aged 0-6 months. The
coverage of exclusive breastfeeding at the Sidomulyo Rawat Inap Pekanbaru in 2017 was
44.40%, while the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding at the Puskesmas Sidomulyo
Rawat Inap Pekanbaru in 2019 was 50.1%, this is still below the national target of 100%.
Breastfeeding education is needed before giving birth in order to increase the knowledge,
intention and efficacy of breastfeeding for pregnant women. The purpose of this study
was to assess differences in knowledge, intention and self-efficacy of pregnant women
before and after being given prenatal breastfeeding educational interventions. This
research was quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest on 112 pregnant
women in the third trimester. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant
difference in knowledge, intention, and self-efficacy about breastfeeding before and after
the breastfeeding intervention for third trimester pregnant women is given.
