Gambaran Parameter Laboratorium Klinis Pasien Covid-19 Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau
CoronaVirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) began with the emergence of a mysterious case
of pneumonia which was first reported in December 2019 in Wuhan, Hubei Province,
China. The description of clinical laboratory parameters has a very large role in
handling COVID-19, starting from screening, diagnosis, monitoring disease progression
and therapy, determining prognosis, to surveillance. This study aims to determine the
description of clinical laboratory parameters (ALC (Absolute Lymphocyte Count), NLR
(Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio), Leukocytes, Neutrophils, D-dimer, and CRP (C-Reactive
Protein)) in COVID-19 patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital. Riau Province for the period
March – December 2020. This type of research is a descriptive study with a retrospective
approach. The number of samples in this study were 144 samples obtained by the Total
Sampling technique. The data was obtained from secondary data, namely all medical
records of confirmed samples of COVID-19 at the Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province
for the period March - December 2020. The laboratory parameters assessed in this study
included complete blood counts, NLR, D-dimer, and CRP. Data were analyzed with SPSS
version 17 for windows. The results of this study found that the most age characteristics
were ages 20-60 years as many as 117 people (81.25%) with the highest gender being
women as many as 86 people (59.72%), the most comorbid diseases suffered by COVID-
19 patients were diabetes mellitus as many as 24 people (15.79%), laboratory results
obtained NLR values
