Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a disease caused by the SARSCoV-
2 virus where this virus was first introduced in Wuhan, China in December
2019. The death rate from this disease is getting higher day by day where it is
influenced by factors risk of death in COVID-19 patients such as age, gender,
occupation, and comorbid diseases. This type of research is descriptive with the
aim of knowing the death profile of confirmed COVID-19 patients at the Arifin
Achmad Hospital for the period March 2020 - March 2021. The data of this study
are all medical records of patients who died confirmed COVID-19 for the period
March 2020 - March 2021. The results of this study it was found that the most age
characteristics were age >59 years as many as 43 people (42,6%), the most
gender was male as many as 62 people (61.4%), the most work was risky work as
many as 29 people (28,7% ), the most comorbid was diabetes mellitus as many as
34 people (23.1%), the length of days treated - the most died was 1-7 days as
many as 71 people (70.3%), the most treatment room was ICU Pinere room as
many as 52 people (51.5 %).
