Gambaran Status Gizi Atlet Bela Diri Pusat Pendidikan Dan Latihan Pelajar (Pplp) Provinsi Riau Tahun 2021
Nutritional status is one factor that can influence an athletes performance.
Anthropometric measures, such as measuring body mass index (BMI), waist
circumference, waist-to-hip ratio, and body fat percentage, can be used to assess
nutritional status. Because an athlete engages in a lot of physical activity, it is
important to keep track of how many calories he or she consumes and ensure that
he or she gets enough nutrients. The goal of this study was to examine the
nutritional health of martial arts athletes at the Riau province's student education
and training facility (PPLP) in 2021. This study was designed as a quantitative
descriptive study utilizing the observational approach. The participants in this
study were all martial arts athletes from Riau province's student education and
training facility (PPLP). The total number of respondents sampled in this study
was 22. The findings show that the majority of nutritional status of PPLP martial
arts athletes in Riau province is based on BMI in the normal category 72.7%,
nutritional status of PPLP martial arts athletes in Riau province is based on waist
circumference at most in the normal category 86.4%, almost all PPLP martial
arts athletes in Riau province is based on RLPP in the normal category 95.5%,
and nutritional status of PPLP martial arts athletes in Riau province is based on
percent body fat of PPLP martial arts athletes in Riau province is extremely
varied, with 45.5% normal, 22.7% athletic, 22.7% good, and 9.1% overweight.
