Pengaruh Evaluasi Diri Dan Pengembangan Profesi Terhadap Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru Di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to analyze the effect of self-evaluation and professional development on the pedagogic competence of State Elementary School teachers in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. From the initial observations that the author has made, it has been shown that the competencies possessed by elementary school teachers in Rokan Hilir Regency are still below the standard of teacher pedagogic competence according to applicable legislation. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire given to 122 respondents from 155 State Elementary School teachers in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency who were randomly selected as samples using the Slovin formula. The research method was carried out, namely the respondents gave responses to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression and data processing using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) program.
Based on the results of the study, it was found that self-evaluation and professional development together had an effect on the Pedagogic Competence of State Elementary School Teachers in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This means that the better self-evaluation and professional development will affect the higher the Teacher's Pedagogic Competence that is produced. This shows that self-evaluation and professional development are important variables to pay attention to so that teachers' pedagogical competencies can increase. While the self (partial) self-evaluation has an effect on Teacher Pedagogic Competence. The better the self-evaluation given will affect the higher the teacher's Pedagogic Competence that is produced. This means that self-evaluation is an important variable to consider so that the teacher's pedagogic competence can increase. And professional development itself (partial) has an effect on Teacher Pedagogic Competence. The higher the professional development, the better the teacher's pedagogic competence. Therefore, professional development is an important variable to consider in improving teacher pedagogic competence
