The research was conducted at the Pekanbaru City Education Office, encountered
problems including that several Integrated Islamic Junior High Schools had no
information to explain how the advantages existed in each school in order to attract the
public to send their children there. This study aims to build a geographic information
system application regarding the location of the Integrated Islamic Junior High School
in Pekanbaru City. This system is designed using the PHP programming language and
MySQL database. The system created includes distribution, school routes, looking for
the intended school and the closest school from the user's position. With the geographic
information system for mapping the Integrated Islamic Junior High School in
Pekanbaru City, it is easier for users to get information on the Integrated Islamic Junior
High School.
