Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kecemasan Pada Pasien Pasca Stroke
Stroke is a clinical syndrome characterized by acute loss of brain
function and can cause death. Stroke can cause complex physical and psychological
problems. The physical problem that is usually experienced by stroke sufferers is
paralysis. While the psychological problem that is usually experienced by stroke
patients is anxiety. These problems if left unchecked can lead to new problems.
This study aims to determine the factors related to anxiety in post-stroke patients.
Methods: Correlation descriptive research design with cross sectional approach.
The research sample was 30 respondents who were taken based on inclusion criteria
using quota sampling technique. The analysis used univariate analysis to see the
frequency distribution and bivariate using Chi-Square test. Results: The results of
this study indicate that there is a relationship between age and anxiety in post-stroke
patients (p-value=0.012) with the majority occurring in the elderly (73.7%), there
is a relationship between gender and anxiety in post-stroke patients (p-value=0.004)
with the majority occurring in women (60%), and there is a relationship between
sleep quality and anxiety in post-stroke patients (p-value=0.004) with the majority
having poor sleep quality (53.3%). Conclusion: Post-stroke anxiety in the severe
category occurs mostly in the elderly, female, and has poor sleep quality. It is
recommended to post-stroke patients and their families to pay more attention to the
patient's psychological health so that the rehabilitation process in post-stroke
patients can run well.
